The third edition of the Fakenham Art Biennial (formerly known as the Fakenham Contemporary Art exhibition) will be held from Thursday 11 July until Sunday 21 July 2013 in the historic and stimulating setting of Fakenham’s 14th Century Parish Church (directions here).
This ambitious, bold and innovative exhibition is intended to celebrate the creativity being practiced in our county, and will feature over 80 works by more than 50 Norfolk based emerging and established artists.
Organised by local artists Keith and Debbie Osborn, together with Fakenham Parish Church, the exhibition will present a variety of contemporary approaches to art with work having been selected in a wide range of media including ceramics, collage, drawing, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture and textiles. Selection was by open submission and subject matter was not restricted.
The exhibition will be open from 10am to 4pm every day from Thursday 11 July until Sunday 21 July 2013 (12pm to 4pm on Sundays). A special service for artists and the arts will be held at the Church on Sunday 14 July at 10.30am and the exhibition will open late on Thursday 16 September 2011 from 6pm to 8pm.
We look forward to seeing you there.
