Well, it’s all go here at Fakenham Contemporary Art 2011 HQ!!
We’re putting the final touches to the publicity for the event, planning the Private View on 7th September and the Arts Activity Day on 10th September, printing our colour catalogue, making improvements to the display and lighting, and ensuring we’re well stewarded every day! There’s an excited buzz around now and we’re all looking forward to the best bit – actually hanging the work and the exhibition coming together.
If you’re an artist in the exhibition, then there’s still time to offer your services in doing a workshop at our Arts Activity Day – just get in touch. And just to prove how people respond when artists do share their time and skills, we had this lovely comment on the website the other day: “will you please email me a programme when it is ready. I came with my family 2 years ago for a variety of art workshops on Saturday. It was wonderful and my children still have some of the art they made. Even I had a go at printing and was very proud of my attempts.”
It’s all coming together really well now, so we look forward to seeing you at the exhibition in just over three weeks time. And tell all your friends – we have the feeling this one is going to be really special!

Hi Chris, thanks for your comments and glad you enjoyed the exhibition. We will soon be loading all artist details on the website along with images of many of the pieces of work. If you happened to pick up one of the colour brochures that does have all the artists contact information included on the centre pages. Anyway, please do keep checking and the details will be on the website as soon as we can do it. Kind regards, Keith
